Welcome to the second instalment of the OISRT tournament.
OISRT2 is the second tournament of the OISRT series.
It is both a Mod Jam organised in two phases, as well as a Sight Reading Tournament.
So what's a Mod Jam?
A Mod Jam is a sort of event where the NotITG community gets together to create new modfile content under a short time limit, usually 48 hours to 7 days.
And what's a Sight Reading Tournament?
A sight reading tournament, in NotITG terms, is a tournament in which all the entrants compete on files they've never seen before!
So... what is this then?
A NotITG Mod Jam & Sight Reading Tournament combo event, with a delicious twist!
In the "Mod Jam" phase this time, participants will have a 10 day period (plus extra time available on request) to create any kind of modfile or minigame (with a few rules)!
After the Jam phase's time ends, every file will be collected and added to the pool of dishes, that will be served to everyone for sightreading during the "Sight Reading Tournament" phase!
You do not have to have submitted a meal to join the feast!
You also don't have to attend if you're submitting a meal (but it would be nice to have you!)
Which version of NotITG will this be run on?
The submission period and tournament will be run on NotITG v4.3, which is currently entering beta test!
The new version features numerous performance enhancements and fixes, so more people should be able to run the files than ever before!
How will the event go?
If you were here during the first OISRT, things will go similarly:
- First, you register your own account via this website. (Re-use your OISRT1 account if you already have one!)
- Later, a custom game client will be ready to download. You will use your account in game in order to play.
- A livestream is going to be running during the event, and instructions will be given. Our Discord server will also have instructions to follow, so make sure you join when the even thappens!
